All matter emits radio frequency (RF) energy that depends on the temperature and structure of the matter including that present in space. The goal of radio astronomy is to study the skies through the study of the RF energy that is emitted by bodies in space.
These examples are just one example of what can be done with this simple radio telescope:
· Use the sun to study and determine the opening of the plate beam and check the mathematical formula that is used to predict the performance of the parabolic antenna.
· Measure the radiation intensity of the sun and detect changes in solar activity.
· Measure the relative changes in the temperature of the lunar surface.
· Learn about and explore the common collection technique used in radio astronomy called Drift scanning.
· Measure and observe heat emitted in Kelvin degrees and/or refracted by objects, by the human body.
· Location of satellites.
· DVB-S / DVB-S2 / FULL HDTV / HD+ / 3D / SKY satellite reception: Ja
· Measure and observe phenomena that cannot be classified within the paranormal.
· Can be used with SkyPipe software and the like
