The application is very simple.
It connects in parallel between the SO239 socket of your apparatus and the PL259 of the antenna.
The screw you see above the connector is connected to the "earth" and any current coming from the antenna will discharge towards "earth" saving your apparatus from harmful incovenients.
Also great for connecting agreed counterweights to the WOW BASIC antenna and not only... think of the multiple applications.
